It's really not Sunday but I don't really give a shit. Screwing around with my piano, listening to music, writing, perhaps something so good morning everybody.
Do something today... that you don't want to do Like....scrub your toilet? Etc etc etc Something you really hate! If you do it You'll feel better
Or why don't you do nothing!

It really is Sunday now. Eating a piece of French silk pie from Ward 6. I have s full day coming up of "do what I don't want to do..." Completely dismantle my office/studio so it can be repainted... I would almost rather leave it alone, but as the rest of the interior of the house is being done, it'll really look like crap if I don't.

It was a beautiful day out there--got in a walk with the dog, about a half hour. Stopped by one place, shopping for a replacement pole light, but nothing looked good. Read a little of the online manual while playing with settings on the new camera. Cruised the web, breakfast and lunch came out of the fridge (leftovers). I think my wife's cooking tonight, but if not, there are more bits that can be warmed up.

Rough night.
What a funeral. It was huge. Largest anybody has seen. Nobody wanted to leave.

There is snow on the ground.
Andrew was loved by many. The huge turn-out at my brother's funeral is still helping us out to this day.

Had to slip in and say Hi!, before I shut this thing off for the weekend. Off to KC in about 45 minutes. Lots to find out tomorrow about my general state of health, what I can do to improve it, and how to best prepare for the shoulder job.
Cheers!

Good morning.
Evan, may you find peace and acceptance now. Hold what good memories you have.
Played for awhile yesterday, 8 tunes total before the fingers said uncle. While not playing, I stopped getting acrylic nails and just let the real ones grow out but they're still a little short and not strong so I may go get some acrylics again this week. Between missing the frets with the left hand and the strings with the right hand, it's still pretty awful. For now, it's exercise, not music.
Have a good Sunday.

Good Morning Good People
Cloudy and chilly. We don't expect to see the sun again until April. Caffeinating in an attempt to come to consciousness after a day of raking wet leaves and chasing a puppy and working on Zack & Melissa's basement (the solution consisted of hanging a soundbar from the joists with turnbuckles)
Off to church for the second Sunday of Advent followed by housecleaning and Advent decorating (but no outside lights).
Thinking of Evan and Nancy and Christine and all of Andrews friends, praying for solace amidst the silence.
Have a fine Sunday one and all.

I am glad to hear Andrew's service was a time of friends and family gathering and giving each other support.
Todd's snow is on the way here. No plans for today, which makes it a perfect Sunday.

The trees are heavy with snow, the sky is a flat pale gay off-white and it's 33 Fahrenheit degrees. Shovel, or let it melt?
Nice little gig at Ward 6 last nightc, a somewhat rare solo show as Reid was off playing classic rock somewhere. Pulled out some tunes I hadn't played in years. The rest of me might be falling apart, but the brain cells seem intact.

I have been tackling a seemingly endless list of domestic errands that will continue today. At least the Vikings won't be on hand to make things even more miserable. As for the snow, let it melt, let it melt, let it melt. (I left my car in the driveway overnight, so it had BETTER get up to the predicted 38 degrees.)

And we just read his journals. My aching heart! Just when everything was right and beautiful... Regrets and recriminations keep flooding in. But I have none in this: I loved him well. He knew it and felt it and loved me back.

Evan. It sounds as if it was a beautiful service. I hope the love and concern surrounding you helps to carry you through these times.
This afternoon getting together with new musical friends. Man and wife that perform as a duo. She is a good rhythm guitar player, he a fiddle player. They play old time and Cajun, she sings in French if needed. They are also part of a newly forming jug band. Should be a fun afternoon.

Morning
35F predicted, we'll see.
We have a lawn/snow service this year so when I went out to clean the cars off I found the walks already done, well worth the $35 a month. Don't get excited guys, it's a start up company and next year the rates will go up to the standard $180 or more.
My girls are taking the car and DaWife has dibs on my truck today so I'll stay home and do a little shop time.
