I’m going to give - your early thanksgiving - “hello and a wave”
I just gave somebody - a few pesos/ coins. A person knocked my door. They had a old dog-eared sign with bills “ they need some money” And I don’t really have it. Anyway.... I did it.
I always liked T- day I had feasts with new solo people in my houses. Maybe they were lonely or depressed. And I always gave them a sandwich or a leftover for Friday. Good evening

I intend to walk in the woods. Then work all day. Then eat some turkey, sweet potato casserole, twice baked potatoes, and apple pie.
I'm thankful for the friendships forged in the Soundhole.

Happy Thanksgiving to all here.
Windy but 50F here today which should finish stripping the leaves off the trees and probably some pine branches as well. Might watch the Bears/Cowboys game and root for the Bears for no real reason other than I like to see the Cowboys lose so I can rub it in to my neighbor.
I'm told that Thanksgiving dinner is scheduled for 5:00pm. OTOH Mary changed her mind 4 times yesterday over whether she was making pumpkin pie. I know she made an apple pie. Sort of miss the big family Thanksgivings of my youth though that's long gone. Got a little misty last night watching a documentary about a river that runs through my home town and surrounding towns. One of the guys who made the documentary lives on a road that used to be in my woods and I did the surveying for that road when the farm was divided up into house lots back in 1970. He had pictures of the bridges over the river that I used to fish from as a kid and places along the river that I recognized. You can't go home again. It's not there anymore.
Hope all y'all have something to be thankful for today.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. I am thankful for so many things it would take too long to list them. Enjoy an extra slice of the pie of your choice.

I have been thinking a lot lately about all of the blessings in my life. Most of all friends like you all, family, my church friends, and most of all Heather, my Mo Anam Cara. Challenges still await my future, but my faith and friends will help me through.
Happy Thanksgiving. Have good ones.

Dallas is playing Buffalo in the 4:30 game but I can't root for Buffalo 'cause they're in our division. I'd hate to root for Dallas.

Happy Thanksgiving, I believe Bob has the right idea, share what you have on Thanksgiving with someone who has less. Here, it's going to be an "all boys" Thanksgiving, the girls are in Louisville for an Irish dance competition. They'll be back Sunday and we'll do a Turkey then.

Happy thanksgiving my soundhole friends. In spite of differences, politics and religion, we are still here on the island of misfit toys, lo these many years after getting the left foot of fellowship from AG. That has to be worth something.

The grandkids just did their traditional treasure hunt. the two older ones reading the clues then the 3 y.o encouraged by them to grab the clue stuck on to what ever they were led to. I am amazed at how well the 7 & 8 y.o treat the youngest. They delight in each other. Excitement and laughter throughout the house. Lets see how I feel about it mid afternoon with everyone getting hungry. Happy Thanksgiving.

The sun is just crawling over the rooftops, it's 20 degrees and I am looking out at a driveway covered in snow cuz I could not get my just-tuned-up snowblower to start yesterday, will try again this morning.

We'll see who makes the last mistake.

Good morning. It'll be rainy here. Our younger daughter finally made it to Phoenix after a 24-hour flight delay. We'll have nine people at our table. There's a lot to be thankful for and I am. Enjoy your day.

YUM Have a good one, my man. Me, too. A repairman who lives close by took pity on us and fit us into his very busy schedule yesterday afternoon. He had the part on the truck and was able to fix things and get us back in the saddle of turkeydom in about 35 minutes. He was my last ditch effort yesterday and it all worked out. Never heard of the guy before yesterday but he is now on my list of dependable people to call first. It is like the Great Turkey Spirit was watching over us. I may still do the turkey on the Weber, but at least now we have an oven to use for everything else. Whoopeeee!!
