ho ho ho Santa ho ho ho This past & present & future memories. This eve/eve day has been absolutely horrible one. But I always find a gem. I talked with a nurse/volunteer. We talked about a lot of things, music, old jobs and she came back with a hug & talked to me and also she’s going to see me on Tuesday. My day hasn’t a bad one. A gem. If I have bad 100% one, I have to forget about it. *My writing can be my therapeutic church/life.

I'm glad that something good happened, Bob.
Good morning, all. It's raining here and the temperature is supposed to be about 58 degrees all day. I'll go to church at 3:30 and then make dinner. I need to remember to wrap my gifts. Enjoy your day.

Bob, I know it has to be tough keeping your spirit up in the face of such adversity.
Christmas party with the fam all day today. Get up Christmas, watch the granddaughters open their Christmas presents, and then get on the road to Mississippi.
Be well, holers.

Good morning. Merry Christmas Eve, or whichever holiday you're celebrating.
Finished my wrapping this morning so I think I'm done now. A friend got a new old dog, rescue from SPCA. so we'll go meet him this afternoon and bring a dog toy. We dog sit for the friend when necessary so we need to make friends with the new dog. Sad story in that the dog was found mangy, hungry and thirsty in his owner's house but the owner had apparently been dead a few days. My friend's previous dog died a few months ago and he has been trying to decide if he was going to get another, he's always had a dog, and I guess he couldn't pass this one up. It's a poodle mix I guess, about 7 years old.
Beyond that I think I'm off today.
Happy Tuesday if nothing else. Bob, I hope you can get straighten out down there.

Happy Christmas Eve to all.
Not such good news on the home front regarding the sale of our house. Soil samples from the old unused oil tank came back contaminated, so....need to get some bids and DEQ is involved. But, this too will pass, it’s only money.
Not much going on today other than trying to figure out what to do next.

Barb and I are still really sick. All of our Christmas gatherings were cancelled and we are spending most of our time in and out of sleep.
Tomorrow is Barb's birthday and it looks like it won't be a much fun as I originally planned. You bozos stay well and stay very far away from the RSV virus. This is no fun.

In the office for a bit then heading home to start getting ready for the feast. I'm on the back third of a nasty head cold myself but think I'm turning the corner. Hope every one that's down get's better.
Merry Christmas friends!

Vikes looked lackluster last night and deserved to lose, but I'm OK with it, as it will make things more festive tomoro while feasting with my sister and her son, who are huge Packer fans. Still "warm" and calm here, should be an EZ drive to Sconnie, taking back roads over, freeway back.
I hear O'Hare and Midway are both closed due to fog? Not a good day for that to happen!

Gray and rainy. Glad that we got fudge delivered to 3 of 4 neighbors yesterday. Will try to do the last today, but will call first to make sure she answers the door.

It is sunny and 46°F here.
Every page of today's Indianapolis Star says it is Wednesday, December 25, 2019. Each of the comics carries the date 12-25 and their content indicates that they were intended to be published on Christmas day.
The "Today in History" column says "Today is Wednesday, Dec. 25, the 359th day of 2019. There are six days left in the year. This is Christmas Day."
I am curious about what they will publish tomorrow.

Bill, I would love your feedback on my post above about the Indy Star. How many people would need to screw up for this to happen?

I am curious about what they will publish tomorrow. This strikes me as a printing press error -- with early holiday deadlines, a lot of the features copy gets printed even earlier than normal, and so I'm guessing the wrong plates got attached to the press for the pages in question. My guess is that they will run those pages the same way tomorrow and add a box explaining what happened the previous day and directing readers to their online paper for the missed Tuesday stuff.
