Up. Coffee. Had the kids over last night. Good food and early prezzies. That was really our Xmas. So...today, no rain. Nothing much on tap for the rest of the week.

Good morning. It's right at 32 in our yard and should reach the high sixties this afternoon. We'll be attending a memorial service for a friend early this afternoon. It'll be outdoors, distanced and masked, with only a small group in attendance. It'll also be sad. Not much else to report. Enjoy your day.

Warm this morning but by noon the temperature will begin to drop and the next couple days will be cold. My only trip outside will be to get the mail so I don't mind, the coffee is hot. Just installed a green screen in my basement, now I need a steamer to get the wrinkles out of it. I anticipate some fun making videos as I learn to use the green screen capabilities.

Morning, dudes and dudettes.
Found out a friend who got COVID is not doing so well. His wife contracted it visiting her dying mother in a nursing facility. Mom died of other things. Kathy, unbeknown to her, came home with COVID. She had a sickly week, but is much better. Her hubby got it from her and he's having a rougher time. Been 2 weeks now. He just went to the hospital because now he's gotten pneumonia on top of the COVID. They're giving him Remdesivir for 5 days. Probably antibiotics. No oxygen or anything mechanical yet.
Merry Christmas. Be careful out there.

Nasty here today. 50 mph wind, rain, it just hailed, temps on the way to the deep freeze, and we may get the dreaded snow. Nothing else to say.

Good morning
It's cold and raining at the moment. Temps will dropping as the day progresses and that will freeze the rain. Then it will start snowing late this afternoon. So we will have snow on top of ice. That will make the roads like a Demolition Derby for Christmas Eve. Kaiah and Zaria will be traveling to our place Christmas morning, crap!
I was just out picking up last minute, ie: things I forgot to get yesterday, and now I need not go anywhere until at least Boxing Day.

I've heard that's on the menu here for tomorrow. Just want to say thanks to the Midwest for sending us your weather for Christmas. 😛

The snow has begun. The tempo here is 39 degrees, but in Grand Forks, it's 1-below zero, and that air mass is heading this way with high winds.

Did they mention that I'm working to get Nick to paint the East wall of the Mercantile (stage) green? I think with a green background I could make next years Ijam performances much more interesting when they appear on YouTube.

Just had concrete poured for the foundation of the long awaited Pergola Project. City guy came out and approved the hole in the ground. Contractor filled it with Sacrete mix. Put a blanket over it because it's dipping down to the teens over night. 50 deg right now. Contractor will start framing next week. Chilly. But that's his problem.

Lots of wind and blowing snow but not much accumulation. I think this blizzard is going to be a disappointment in our area.
That happens a lot, big blizzards divert around us. I think it is the electromagnetic field of the Kensington Runestone.

The Wolf is coming to your door. In my town, we call it The Hawk. No they don’t. That’s purely a Chicago thing. Lou Rawls said so. Lou was gritty and tough, just like Chicago. In NYC they call the wind Mariah. Kind of a Kingston Trio thing. Matching 3/4 length sleeved shirts and all.
