I was never a Dylan fanatic. I only own a few of his albums. One of them is Blood On The Tracks. The guy can tell a story.

My favorite is probably Nashville Skyline.

There are presently 297 songs in my "favorites" playlist. I'm happy to say there's not a single Dylan song in there.
(Don't tell Ducktrapper).

Is that what happened? I thought he'd asked to be removed.
(My fave Dylan album is Highway 61 revisited).

I kind of stopped listening to him after Nashville Skyline but was impressed with his poetry/lyrics. Big fan back in those times.
North Country Blues, Hollis Brown, God On Our Side, etc. Good stuff.
Did get his Shadows In The Night disk and liked it, especially The Night We Called It A Day.
I like the dude.

This has always been my favorite Dylan song.
Hendrix did a good version at Monterey

My fave. Interesting how much, in retrospect, John Prine sounds similar. No doubt Bob was an influence.
I have a lovely memory of Lonnie, Don Clark and I playing that song at the Riverside Cafe in Minneapolis, each of us fingerpicking a Goodall.

Mine and Bruce Springsteen's(?) too Paul. Yorkshire DJ Andy Kershaw is another admirer. He made a good radio documentary about the Highway 61 Revisited album on its 50th birthday.

Hey Marshall, here's one I bet you could do real justice to. I have always loved the way he phrased it and the the longer than expected holes he left. (Plus the lyrics are pretty perceptive when you think he was probably all of 23 or 24 when he wrote it.) I remember that album got worn out as all the guys in the dorm were coming into my room to borrow it. Good picture of Susie R on the cover.

What I've always found interesting about Dylan is the fact that he was born and raised in the Iron Range in Minnesota, which can be translated to the middle of nowhere. Not just geographically, but also in terms of proximity to other known musicians through history. There is something cool about that.

I was a Dylan fanatic in late adolescence and early adulthood. Now I listen and appreciate occasionally.
"Don't Think Twice" and "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" resonated with me in regard to relationships during college that fizzled quickly.

My twenty Dylan's song was "Don't Think Twice" - but the best version ...Ramblin'Jack I was Bobby Dylan fanatic - 1961 for a few years. His last CD - c.2020- was pretty damn good.

Is that what happened? I thought he'd asked to be removed. Funny, he says it was you that got him kicked off. Anyways, he's tried to get reinstated but the moderator club won't have it.

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band just released a new album that is entirely Bob Dylan covers. It is quite good.
I've warmed up to Bobby D over the years, although I nearly always prefer to hear his songs sung by someone other than him. Gordon Lightfoot, one of my all-time heroes, has a nice cover of "Ring Them Bells."
