He can't be both there and at Idiot Jam. I had it in the back of my head that he was not coming to IJ, glad to hear that is not the case! Well, I was, unfortunately, mistaken and epaul will not be at IJam.

Thank you for a picture of someone we know! I really did intend to get a picture of the three of us, but I totally forgot. I'm glad we got to spend a little time together, and I'm still bummed you're going to be having a blast in Glacier while we're having a blast in Vinton.

That guitar was a major sweetie. Light & responsive. I hoped Marshall would buy it for me, but, alas, it was not to be. Today it is at Down Home Guitars looking for an owner.

That Bourgie was "Best in Show" for me. At $13k, a bargain.
Yeah, it's scary that after the show it was going to be hanging on the wall about an hour's drive away from where I presently sit.
(Though I played my Eastman slope dread when I got home, and that calmed my nervousness. At 10% of the Bourgeoise, it has 90% of the warm clear tone, I guess. It'd be fun [but scary] to have them both in the same room.)

My ears were ringing!
The Summit was, again, wonderful.
It was a pleasure and privilege to hang for a bit with John B. It will an even greater privilege to get a copy of Kalamazoo Gals to John's father, a fellow who was born in Kalamazoo.

I confess I have not (yet) read Kalamazoo Gals but it's on my list. I've actually been to that plant while it was still the Gibson plant.

I intended to get my copy signed but forgot it at home. Bummer! It was a pleasure to meet you, John.

Thanks, all.
But "Mr. Thomas." As folks who know me, I ain't worthy.
I'm honored and humbled by every purchase of the little book that changed my life. If you'd like a signed bookplate sticker to affix on the inside title page of your book (or on your car bumper, forehead, or anywhere else), email me at johnthomasguitar-at-gmail.com. I'll very, very happily mail you a signed sticker ... for free.
