Good morning! I don't have to be back in the dreary office until January 2! Wahoo!
The world is my oyster for 10 days!
Wishing everyone a good day.

Good morning. We're expecting showers today and heavy rain tonight. There's a flood watch.
I don't have much planned. Enjoy your day.

Rain starting that is suppose to fall until the 26th and then taper off and drizzle for a few more days. Busy couple of days coming up. Enjoy that morning coffee.

Up at 4 this morning. Coffee in hand dog in lap. Probably close the shop early today so we can all get to the gas station in time to get our Christmas presents bought.

Don't eat the blue oysters.

[...] Probably close the shop early today so we can all get to the gas station in time to get our Christmas present bought. [...] ? I see Jan disliked my post above as well she probably should have. This year my wife and I have a well communicated "don't get me anything" policy in place for the big day. Don't tell her but she's getting chocolate and 100 dollar bills in her stocking though. We'll see if I get in trouble.

Rain started here just after 6:00 AM, but so far it's light. I believe that I don't need to go anywhere today except to go for a walk. That may not happen, as I am certainly not going to walk the mall if it's raining.
I don't much care for oysters. But Blue Oyster Cult was OK.

Barb & I give each other a month in FL for Christmas every year. It beats any other present we could buy. Since her birthday is Christmas Day, I still get her a present for that, but it is wrapped in birthday paper, not Christmas paper. Oysters are horrid.

But Blue Oyster Cult was OK. "I'll take things I never thought I'd hear Renee say for $100 please Alex"

Good morning. Cool and cloudy here in Florida. One more item to acquire to complete my Yule shopping and that will be accomplished shortly. Outside of that it's whatever strikes my fancy or whatever Claire decides I need to do to help her out. Have a great day everyone.

A light rain is expected all day for my trip to Wisconsin. No reindeer today, I'll have 285 horses pulling me. I'll get the sleigh loaded up soon and then head out for a very busy weekend with my daughter, SIL and my 3 grand babies (ages 19, 21 and 22).

Last horse class today. I have spent 16 weeks with these horses (four of them). “Mr Skittles, “a pony” was my favorite. He was playful and sassy. As I would put grooming supplies up on the shelf in his stall, he would take them one by one and throw them on the floor as I was grooming him. I always found that so amusing. “Ranger” was a lover and always put his head on my shoulder. “Stella” was a diva...we understood each other completely. LOL! “Bleu” was quiet and gentle and loved to be groomed and loved. We lost “Monet” to cancer midway during this class. I was able to spend time with him the day before the vet euthanized him. I feel fortunate to have had that opportunity to say good bye. I am really going to miss all of them.

Cloudy, chilly, rainy later.
Dragging this morning after a late night at the emergency veterinary clinic. After I had spent a long day with the younger granddaughters, my daughter called me and said you gotta come here and look at Bailey. Bailey is our eldest granddaughter's puppy, a 6-month-old Pomeranian/Dachshund mix. She was very lethargic, and could only walk a few steps clumsily before lying down and sleeping. She was also making a weird whining/snorting/wheezing noise.
Off to the emergency vet. Turns out our daughter and granddaughter had taken Bailey to daughter's friend's place; Bailey started acting strangely as soon as they got home. The friend and her boyfriend are heavy cannabis users. This puppy was high. The vet tech at the receiving desk essentially diagnosed her, and told me they see stoned dogs every day. Most likely Bailey had licked up crumbs of bud from the kitchen floor (Bailey is only 8 pounds, so it wouldn't take much). Four hours and $500 later, I got home. We were advised to keep Bailey off of furniture and off of stairs until she regained stability, so she curled up on the living room floor and I slept on a recliner.
Off to the grocery store, hopefully for the last time before Christmas day, then a nap.

Tam, a stressful and spendy tale, but glad Bailey will be OK.
I just edited a review of "Ferrari," sounds like one I will not be seeing. Two out of four stars.

Tamarack, if I were you I'd be more than a little irked about the episode involving Bailey.

Good morning
36F-44F cloudy.
Light rain/drizzle right now.
Munching on banana chocolate chip muffins. Riley is leering at me like I owe him something. Turns his nose up at cat treats but will chew your leg off to get to some pastry. Simon LOVES cat treats and could care less about a muffin.
Think I'll head down to my shop.

Tamarack, if I were you I'd be more than a little irked about the episode involving Bailey. Like liquor there are responsibilities. Sorta like letting the kids get to the Bailey's or Cherry Kijava.
