Good morning. It's a little cooler out than it has been. Today I have no deeds to do, no promises to keep, so I'll relax.
Once again in Wordle I guessed a word containing a letter that I already knew wasn't in the answer. Great work, Don.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning. Supposed to rain on and off all day. That will dictate the days activities. Have good ones.

Good morning. Looks like rain is coming—it's overcast, gray, humid, and still outside. Not much better inside.
I will likely be bowing out of a short drive upstate to attend a graduation party for one of Her Grace's good friends from middle school. The girls have kept in touch over the years and visit each other when possible. Today, I am not feeling great nor do I feel up to driving in New York traffic and then making small talk with people I don't know well. Besides, we have two dogs here for the weekend, ours and my son's. I'll look after them and walk them this afternoon. I have the sense Her Grace doesn't really want me there today. I guess that's OK in this situation. I'll have time to read, reflect, play guitar, take a walk.
About to make coffee and some breakfast. Chet Baker's greatest hits on the Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen.
Have a good Saturday, people.

Wendy to New Orleans with friends. Going on the steamboat Natchez.
Me, in the office and then to a pistol-shooting contest. I'll be token newbie.

Sitting in front of the remains of last night's campfire. It's a small, somewhat Smokey fire, but that's OK. Coffee is good, breakfast of pancakes with pepper bacon and turkey bacon is next. The gals are out skiing, looks like a great day.

I have decided the young PT woman is trying to kill me. Sure, she smiles, talks softly, and massages my leg after the torture, but every day she adds something that is harder to do. She has plans. I just know it. I don’t have to go back until Monday. Yay!

Good morning.
57F - 70F sunny & windy.
Nothing planned for today except shop time and a nice nap later but who knows what the day will bring. I'll finish up the little Stella during Saturday Shop since I don't expect anyone to drop by.
Got my new prescription sunglasses yesterday, Aviator frames with Mirrored lenses, love it. Carrying around two pairs of glasses can be a pain but having prescription sunglasses is so much better than cover ups.

I just know it. I don’t have to go back until Monday. Yay! Medical professionals are very sneaky. When I had surgery to replace my heart valve, they would do blood draws every few hours. It was hard enough sleeping with all the tubes and crap attached but being woken up at 3:00 am for a needle poke was really starting to piss me off. But they would always send the cutest, nicest, beautiful young nurse at that time so it was impossible to bite her head off as I would have liked to do. Sneaky. Mike

Pistol shooting used to be fun. Now that my right eye vision has turned to crap, I doubt that it would be. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I can still use the viewfinder on my camera.
Today we have a 3 hour event at our church. Something called "Happiness Day." It involves jokes, a movie, a presentation, and discussion. Plus lunch will be provided. I wanted to go because we're not attending the too early for us single Sunday service during the summer and I still want to feel like a member. I made no attempt to talk Mr. H into it. Although he doesn't seem very enthused, he decided to participate too.
One thing to be happy about is the .28" of rain that we picked up last night.

Yeah, they say get over here and do 15 more reps of that horribly painful exercise and then I have something really interesting planned! As she was torturing me, she was telling me she was born in 1998. I was thinking, that’s about when I bought this shirt. That simply added to the pain.

I just know it. I don’t have to go back until Monday. Yay! James Brady, Reagan's press secretary who was wounded when Reagan was, referred to his therapist as his Physical Terrorist. If you've ever had a therapist push you for just "five more reps," it is hard to argue with Brady's description.

In other exciting news, we had a new mattress delivered yesterday and last night's sleep was much improved. I wasn't restricted to the valley I had been sleeping in.

A just slightly too hot 78f predicted for this sunny Saturday. Dogs are fed, wife is off to the gym, coffee is being consumed. Wife and I had a nice lunch at BG Food Cartel yesterday. I went to Mexico Lindo and had the reliably delicious chicken street tacos, rice and beans. Wife went to one of the barbeque spots and had smoked brisket with macaroni.
Today is dog park and tomato staking day. I have a bunch of bamboo and need to use them to create some good looking stakes.

Frankly, just for the dog's sake it makes sense for you to stay home. For your son's peace of mind, for the dogs' pieces of minds, and for your peas on the vine.* The added benefit of staying home when you don't want to go is just that. *Rule of three. Once I said peace and pieces, I needed a third - no matter the quality of pun adjacency.
