Good morning. Every July I resolve not to spend the next July in Phoenix. I've only followed through on that resolution once. My one plan for today is to take a walk while it's still pleasant.
Have a good one.

Good morning. The forecast calls for heat and humidity in New York today. Currently 74Β° that feels like 81Β°, with a high of 88Β° later, and 91Β° tomorrow. Scattered thundershowers are also predicted.
Some errands to run, more of my book to read, some guitar time, and later this evening Her Grace and I will finish the final film in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, "The Return of the King."
Have a good day. Stay cool and hydrated.

Good morning
59F-80F sunny.
Going to be a very nice day out there so I should find something to do outside for the day.

Well I hope you checked its tag and got it back to where it belonged. I really liked the 12-fret Alvarez I played there last year. I ultimately settled an Ibanez, but the Alvarez was pretty cool.

Good morning. Went on a morning bike ride as it's going to rain later today. I don't have much planned, Claire is watching Wimbledon, I'm going to mess around with my guitars and do some shopping. Claire and I will probably watch a movie later on. Have a great day folks.

I'm having Bit-O-Honey and a Tootsie Roll for breakfast. I gave mine to Sue. She likes the Bit-O-Honey. I got a Yamaha Bass yesterday from the afore mentioned establishment.

Hey Epaul, that is a right, fine looking little guitar! I love the size and mahogany top.
I have watered the lawn and I might clean out the dryer vent today. Other than that, it is a hunker down, try to stay cool day for me.

As a trombonist, Iβm guessing you plan to use this with a slide.

Amana Joe has one of those that he brought to IJam last year. I have the spruce top version, AP70. Nice guitar. Mine is the Artist series with laminated back and sides instead of your Masterworks series with all solid woods. I don't know which Joe has.

Great gig last evening, after the showers passed. I think the temp was 71 degrees when we finished.
Following the gig I motored down to Vinton, where I stopped at the Beast and Bird beer garden.
I had a great brisket sandwich and water, then sat and visited with Todd and Jay.
Right now I'm at my daughter's, in Wisconsin, sitting in the shade next to the lake. We were out boating and waterskiing earlier.

Sweetwater seems to ask $299 for the Plek. Seems like a lot. I would love to hear from someone with experience about what you get for that and how that compares to a good setup.

According to Google maps it's just an hour drive from Baton Rouge to New Orleans. That being the case, I gotta tell you that that driver apparently didn't know very many songs.

It's the same as the Vito but it's smaller. MAYO!!!! Blcch! It's an Eye-talian sub, not chicken salad. It has salami, capocollo, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil & vinegar and oregano-basil. Ain't that enough?

I have used Sweetwater as a source for some nice mic orders for the school, plus I have a pretty good relationship with my Sweetwater guy, so I was able to swing a discount on the plek job, got it for $298. My initial impression is it can't possibly have been worth it. Maybe if I played past the 5th fret.
