Supposedly, she'll announce it on Monday. On Wednesday, the two of them will campaign in my hometown of Eau Claire.

Go get em! Wisconsin is a great state to make the VP splash. It a swing state in play, and next door Minnesota media will be all over it as well. Two states with one stone.

I don’t know anything about Walz but I like all the others who are under consideration. I don’t see how she can make a bad choice.

Of those I've seen with their names being mentioned, I find Buttigieg very impressive and personable and Gov. Walz a fairly formidable chap. My personal impressions are utterly irrelevant obviously.

I have been watching a lot of Pete Buttigieg being interviewed on various TV shows, The Daily Show, Fox News, etc. You can find it all on YouTube. I am extremely impressed with him. He is personable, funny, articulate, very intelligent, quick on his feet. He can argue without being an offensive jerk. His discussions are full of data that he doesn't seems to have made up on the spot or pulled out of his ass. He would make a very good vice president and, eventually, president.
My only misgivings I have about Kamala choosing him are the pairing of a declared gay guy with a black woman. It seems to double the disgraceful, but inevitable, attack avenues. But, I'm not sure that the people who would find Pete to be a bridge too far were going to vote for Kamala anyway.
(Note to Bruce: If Pete lies, and I don't think he does, he does it with so much more class than your guy.😉)

I can't argue with that. I desperately want to defeat Trump and if that means Pete waits, I can live with that. He will continue to be an effective campaigner for Harris even if he's not on the ticket. |

I would be terribly shocked if she chooses Pete. Because it seems the common thought is you pick a VP to appeal to those you don’t appeal to, and what she needs to appeal to is an older, white, more conservative crowd. I hope he gets a chance at the big ring at some point in his career. He’s smart and well spoken, and certainly not afraid to speak his mind
