It is also available on Acorn, which is a network that features shows from United Kingdom,Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Lots of good stuff there. Is that free?
Just cascading down from the oak trees in autumn.

Ok. I just read the wiki on The Maltese Falcon, and a summary of the beginning of Monsewer Spade, and it makes sense and intrigues me. I’ll have to try to find and watch the series.

And the people in the shows talk funny, unlike we Americans. It’s interesting to me that both networks have the series but the one on Acorn is probably licensed for the United Kingdom. Acorn also has all 79 seasons of Midsomer Murders. 79 seasons is a bit of an exaggeration, but not much. I think there were actually 24-25 seasons.

Well, there are three places to see it. Netflix, which is not free, Acorn, also not free, and AMC+, which, surprisingly, is not free.

OK, that really helped. Without that prelude, I'd have been lost. (Thanks people). Sue even liked it. We watched 2 episodes. Really good. Nice to be able to stop and rewind, when you miss some dialog. Don't know if I can ever see a movie in a theater again. I miss so much subtlety.

Finished it. Long on style. I won't spoil the end other than to say "that's cheating".

And what show might that be Mr Smartypants. Under the Vines. It’s about an unlikely couple, a man from London and a woman from Melbourne, that inherit a vineyard in New Zealand and hilarity ensues as the try to learn the wine business in what appears to be the most beautiful spot on earth. Hilarity is too strong a word but it’s a cute show.
