Up early for an appointment. Ugh! It’s dark out. Wake up! Drinking coffee in the dark and listening to the golf course sprinklers coming on. Fun times!

Good morning. Up at 6:30 am EDT to make sure the kid has some breakfast in her before leaving for school. She had her cappuccino but only one bite of the fresh challah toast I served. When asked if it wasn't to her taste, her reply was, "I don't know. I have to leave." My wife and I tasted a bit and it seemed fine, perhaps a bit chewy, but my homemade challah is a bit denser than the cotton fluff stuff you can buy commercially. As my old friend Darrell would have said, "I just doesn't know." Teenagers... try getting a straight answer to a simple question.
Clerical duties today; taxes, photo auction stuff, some correspondence, perhaps a stroll to the local post office. Today will be fair and mild, about 77° for the high temperature.
Last night on my father's Instagram, I posted a photo of the late James Earl Jones he took in 1963, when Jones was a relatively unknown actor in an off-off-Broadway production of Jean Genet's play, "The Blacks." You can see it here: www.instagram.com/bernardgotfrydphotography/ along with some of the other people he photographed in the course of his 31-year career at Newsweek. He worked his butt off but rubbed elbows with some of the greatest minds and talents of the latter half of the 20th Century.
That's about it from here. Wishing everyone a peaceful, fulfilling day.

Good morning. It's 5:17 MST. Younger daughter left last evening after a visit to see her new nephew. Her flight was at six-something and she took a Waymo to the airport to spare her parents a slog through rush hour traffic. That was appreciated. While she was here she cleaned pine needles off the roof. It's odd to see your children starting to take care of you. Enjoy your day. Wordle 1,179 5/6* ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 ⬜⬜🟨🟩⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟩🟨 🟩🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

Tuesday, normally music practice day, but we're taking today off. I'm going to try for a haircut this morning and this afternoon I gotta visit my vineyard to see if the grapes are ready to pick.

Good morning, all.
Life is still busy in the clinic, but COVID rates appear to be decreasing. I think I've escaped it, although I'm feeling a little achy today ...
Rain is on the way tomorrow, and I'm keeping an eye on the tropical storm in the gulf. If it wobbles a bit east of current forecast, it could cause some mischief here.

I had pot roast in the crockpot by 6:20 this morning after getting up at 6:00. Made possible by having veggies cut up last night, except for the potatoes. Now we'll have breakfast and await the arrival of first the plumber and then the drywaller/tiler. Our daily walk is TBD, but it might be the mall. Expected high of 104.

Should be interesting dinner date.

Good morning.
61F-83F sunny.
Yesterday's attempt at getting DaWife out of the house failed. I'll try again today.
I made tamales last night, carnitas and some cheese with green chilies. Both turned out quite delicious, DaWife was all smiles. The only mistake I made was not watching the steamer pan close enough and I scorched the bottom a bit.

Summery days for the remainder of the week.
Dragging in post-IdiotJam languor and after the first workout in 10 days (if you can call 45 minutes on light weights a workout). Packing away camping equipment and resuming a few projects in preparation for daughter and granddaughter moving back in with us (again).

There may be some settings in your Profile that will allow you to stay logged in.

Why would anyone want to stay logged in to this board? 🤣

Samsung S10 phone. This happened about 1 year ago and then cleared up on its own.I didn't have to log in this when I just got back on the soundhole. Gremlins maybe?

I suspect that staying logged in depends on a combination of site and browser settings. Both my Win 7 and Android versions of Firefox take me right to the Cafe when I start up the Soundhole. But then, Firefox has that remember-my-credentials setting that automates logins. (And left to itself, Facebook will leave me logged in if I close its tab without explicitly logging out--and requires an explicit login when I click on its link, even though Firefox has the login fields filled in.)

We are not making any progress today. The plumber was supposed to be here between 8:00 and 8:30. At 8:45 he called to say that he had bought the materials and was on his way. This assures that the water will be off when the drywall guy gets here. I doubt that Mr. Drywall was actually going to do the work today, but now he won't be able to unless he has another source of water. We are not amused.
The plumber does great work when he gets around to doing it, which is why we keep using him.

As far as I know, there are no SoundHole or ProBoards settings that govern this issue. It all has to do with your browser and operating system settings and whether they have been re-started. If your browser or OS gets an update, you will be logged out because your browser has shut down.

Sometimes I log in as myself but mostly I log in as this character I made up called epaul. I can say all kinds of goofy stuff as epaul and, once in a while, I have “conversations” between myself and the totally fictional poster epaul. I probably shouldn’t have told you, but since everyone but JohnB is in their mid to late 80s, I figure you will all forget anyway.

Renee planted a pot roast seed in my noggin, so I'm just back from picking up a pot roast sammich at Culver's, ordered on toasted rye with lotsa raw red onion and horsey sauce. It doesn't suck. Arnie Palmer to wash things down. Broccoli cheese soup for sort-of-virtue.
