Evidently, Taylor Swift paid all the Eras tour workers a total of $55 million in bonuses last year. If her tour's truck drivers received six figure windfalls, (they did), it seems unlikely that her band members were neglected. I don’t know though.

Maybe my very limited posting habits have insulated me from the attentions of the scantily clad, flirty women. At least it's not twitter loonies.

I have been getting lots of pictures of voluptuous young women who want to be my friend. Youl should check out Threads, Meta’s offering to replace Twitter. I got porn bots follow me every day, showing me voluptuous young ladies in very scanty lingerie. I remarked to my wife, that if Meta can ban accounts as easily as they do over terms like “guns”, or other implied violence, why can’t they shut down random accounts that show me those kinds of pics? It’s not like they’re hard to spot. When I started on Threads, there were a few such irritations. I regularly clicked on the 'block' option for those sorts of accounts for a couple of weeks and they nearly all went away and have stayed away. Block early and often. It doesn’t take long to clear out the trash. For more control you can switch from the "For You" view to accounts you aree "Following". That might mean you miss seeing some fun and interesting stuff though. Happily, In the UK there are hardly any Political ads on Facebook, TV and radio, newspapers or elsewhere. When an election is a month or two away, there is a bit of an uptick, not much though.

I appreciate that video is not everyone's preferred medium. (And 25 minutes is a bit of a chunk of a Sunday). There are transcripts of the YouTubes.
Don't know quite what Millring is driving at. That might be a good thing though.

Rabbi Brous, who went to see the UCLA protests, delivered another passionate Shabbat sermon which follows on from the previous one posted.

I went jungle trekking in Gunung Leseur national park in the '90s. Staying for a fabulous week or so, very near an orangutan rehabilitation centre. Splendid animals. There were gibbons and other beasties in the area too. Gibbons are thrilling and beautiful to watch moving through the trees. Happy memories.

I went to a Vancouver branch one time, played and didn't buy an amazing Morgan. I wish I had.

A slowed down version of Jolene by Dolly Parton was mentioned in the comments. (Nice but I think I prefer the Miley Cyrus version).

The majority of people whose religious viewpoints McClellan finds himself addressing are men. He has done so a lot. Male voices tend to be the more common ones in the world of religious and biblical analysis and debate, online and elsewhere.

While an interesting thinker and commentator, there is only so much Mcclellan can elaborate in one brief clip. Easier to digest than three or four hour Bart Ehrman clips!
Disagreement with a woman is not misogyny.
Mcclellan wears fun T-shirts if nothing else.

A critical look/analysis by Dan Mcclellan* at some strands of Conservative Christian displeasure with the "He gets us" ad was interesting to me. Bit of a rabbit hole though. *A scholar of The Bible and religion whose YouTube films and discussions I sometimes watch.

University of Texas law professor, Steve Vladeck had some thoughts. "The real problem with Thursday's argument in the Trump immunity case is the extent to which it reveals a Supreme Court poised to paint itself into a deeply problematic (and unnecessary) corner""Writing a Rule ... for the Ages"
