Yeah, I’ve been to his house in Shelton. It was a long time ago. He hosted a guitar gathering there, back in the old AG days. Chak Aw was there, Pauline, a bunch of people.

Is Froon still at Batdorf and Bronson? If so I could head up there this summer maybe do lunch or something. It’s about a 2.5 hour drive from my house. Would love to see him again.

After listening to that YouTube video I’m wondering if Fiddilerina is not feeling well.

And yes, he named his daughter Shanda. I don’t understand the reference to the daughter. It’s raining again. This is the rainiest trip to the islands I’ve ever experienced. Should get enough sun for some beach time. Heading down to Kapaa for Malasadas this morning. Sort of a Portuguese donut wih tropical cream cheese filling. I Scrumptious with coffee. I still think the signpost in the roadway is weird.

Woke to light rain here. Hmm, I thought it was over. The waterfalls coming off the mountain are spectacular. Sun is trying to peek through the clouds. And the bridge over the Wailua river is supposed open up fully this am which should help bunches with traffic flow and let us hit up the farmers market in Lihue this afternoon. I’ll go for a swim this morning and do laundry. Dinner plans with friends at the Hanalei Dolphin. The best seafood chowder and sushi. 😁

No one’s answered my question. What’s wrong with the image Millring posted? The sign post planted in the roadway? Mike

John, if you ever rebuild your pottery, ther are a few pieces I’d like to commission. And given my advanced years, sooner would be better than later.

I remember Kieth. It was a treat to hear them play together. They were in sync with one another. I have not seen Froon for years now. He is was a great and generous guy.

Pretty much packed up. We are moving into different digs in the same unit today. When they built this place, they tried to optimize the views from all the units. But naturally some are better than others. We are in the top floor of the Guava building, which has hands down the best view, but we could only get it for a week. We are moving to the second floor today, in the same building, which still has a killer view. And I’m being rushed along by the wife, later peeps.

Jusrpt saw the rain totals for the last 24 hours from the national weather service. The East side of the island (Kapaa, Lihue) got around 12 inches. Looks like we got six inches. It’s dry now. Another front comes in Sunday.

The license examiner didn't approve his license because he was subject to fits of road rage. Obvious case of government overreach. Mike

We are fine. We are on a headland two hundred feet above sea level, so no real issues here, but roads in and out are sketchy. We were planning to hit up a bakery in Hanapepe tomorrow but there are road closures so that’s a no go. The bridge is closed to Hanalei so can’t head there either. Good excuse to watch the Masters I guess.
