I think you guys are making entirely too much light of the situation. If the reports are correct, you'll have to eat at a Trump Tower from now on to get decent kimchi. Unless one is from McNeill, MS whose denizens wouldn't know decent kimchi from shit kimchi. Or kimchi from shit for that matter. What that be? The kimchi... we know all about the other.

Unless he has been lying about the size of Mr. Winkie. He would probably do anything to keep that secret under wraps. It was just something I thought I remembered but wasn't sure. No biggie.

I have a serious question. Were there reports that DT had sex with some working girls in Russia? Did anyone hear that? Was it credible or was it fake news from those who hate him? Point being that if true, then ole Vlad has got to have high def video else he is a joke of an ex-KGB agent.

So he went with the mono vision which is one eye for close-up and one for distance? Your cost is lower than what I was told. I was going for regular lens corrected for distance only but as I have astigmatism in each eye (a recent development) they are charging me $1,500 per eye to correct it.

Col. Schlimm, this little cutie wouldn't happen to live in your town would she? With her on the kit all your gigs would be packed out.

This is all very confusing to me also. I plan on getting an appointment at a SS office back home when I get back. I THINK I can start collecting my SS at 66 without penalty as I will still be working and drawing a salary from the company. I also think at that time I will sign up for Part B and they will withhold the cost from my SS check. I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield with a $5,000 deductible.
I was going to get my cataracts taken care of but the surgeon's money girl called and said that as it was out-patient my Part A wouldn't cover it and as I haven't been to the Dr all year I haven't covered my deductible. So my procedure would have cost us much dinero.

Good morning. Looks to be a beautiful day here so I'll ruin it by trying to finish painting the back stair rails. Spam calls have driven us nuts although we're supposedly on the "Do not call" list, so I relented and bought a CPR Shield call blocker. It claims to automatically block 2000 known spam numbers and then lets you block up to 1500 of your own. $50 Amazon. We had been getting 10 to 12 spam calls a day. I installed it Saturday and since then we've had 2 that I then blocked. So far so good. If any of you are having the problem, I think this works. Have a good Tuesday. Landline?

As I work from wherever and rarely interact with humans I mostly wear cutoff denim shorts usually without a belt. When called upon to venture out into pub-lick, the above referenced sans-belt shorts begin to sag low so I will unconsciously tuck in my tee shirt to give them extra grip. Most of the time this operation doesn't go as planned around back out of my sight and the tee shirt gets tucked into the whitey tightys. If perchance Faithful Wife is in attendance on above said public foray she will circle around behind me, snatch the tee shirt out, and reprimand me with the same admonition: "Gangsta, you have GOT TO STOP TUCKING YOUR TEE SHIRT IN YOUR UNDERWEAR!!".
It must suck to be stuck with embarrassing people.

A few thoughts.
Re the New Yorker article: It's more apt than the tiresome "He's Hitler" trope.
He is the perfect example to drive home the point that Jeff and Pete and others have made about the "Imperial Presidency".

There are observable phenomena and trends. Whether you are sorry that people notice those things is not a reason to deny their reality. The above statement reminded me of an article I read a few weeks ago. www.businessinsider.com/bill-hillary-clinton-normalized-trump-2018-5The writer says he is a Democrat. Not being a political wonk and not reading many political articles I will take his word for it as I don't know. I basically agree with his premise that Trump is the next step in the ever trending downward slide in politics, ethics, morality, partisanship, yadda, yadda, yadda. The following is my humble opinion only: Yes he is a shit storm of the first magnitude but the hypocrisy involved with turning a partisan blind eye to Bill & Hill's epic in-your-face, pay-to-play money grab makes me not give a shit and turn a deaf ear to the almost daily collective howl of outrage from Hollywood, the press, and the Democrats over his every word and deed. You like corruption? You got it. Enjoy. Same thing with the "collusion" investigation. You wanna investigate? Well here comes the IG report and the partisan Republicans are gonna squeeze every drop of "outrage" they can and will probably call for another Special Prosecutor to drill down in that mess. I would welcome that also. You want it? You got it. Let's investigate everybody in DC. Judicial Watch and others will continue to file FOIA lawsuits in the State Dept, Justice Dept, You-name-it Dept and as those documents come dribbling out, an army of Facebook partisan warriors will fill Social Media with almost daily posts of outrage using a mix of truth, half-truths, and outright lies designed to stir the pot. Anyway, it's a mess and I don't see it getting any better anytime soon. My point, I guess, is that I don't think there is any "moral high ground" for anyone to look down their nose at Trump supporters or those like me who despise Hillary but also know that he is... uh..... Well, damn. He is so complicated that it's hard to pin a quick label on him. I do think he fits the "shit storm" label pretty well. Whoever gets close to him ends up getting splattered pretty good. But again, I don't study him or think long and hard about him so that is just from the hip.

Bakersfield has been called the armpit of California for as long as I can remember. Now you can by a Bakersfield Tele style guitar from Larrivee, Bakersfield pickups from a Maker in Northern California, listen to radio stations to get the Bakersfield sound, and we gave you Kevin McCarthy. If the denizens of Bakersfield need a self esteem boost they can always compare themselves to my hometown- Fresno.
