Bad news, Peter. I was figuring that you and I would lead the rest of this motley crew into a head on confrontation with the dark side. Guess I'll leave the Strat at home, probably bring the ES-175 and just tiptoe around the edges of the murky electric realm. You'll be missed.

Well, damn. We'll look for both of you next year. Idiot Jam, the Chicago Cubs of guitar gatherings. "Wait 'til next year."

Anyone have a forum members head count for those attending? As far as I know, everyone has just one head.

Better get a big napkin, then. And tuck it into your shirt collar.

Seems like every year, something totally unexpected comes up for some of us that prevents us from making it to IdiotJam. Believe me, I know it well. This one would make four in row for me. And there are so many of you that were coming that I haven't met, and some of you aren't coming now.
BUT there seems to be a tiny possibility that the unexpected interference can also reverse itself and make attending within reach again.....at the very last minute.
When I went to my transplant team yesterday and they found I had had some low grade fever, they rescheduled the biopsy I had gone for. They drew another set of labs, and we waited for the results. When they came back, my white blood cell count had gone from 2.1 to 3.92 !!!! They wrote me a prescription for a strong antibiotic and told me to go see my friends in Iowa and have a great time. Just keep up the same precautions that anyone on immune suppression would do.
So.................
YES, I'm coming !!!!!!!

Great you can make it, Don! Peter, you'll be missed. Stuff has a way of things coming up at the most inopportune times.

Disappointed at the absence of Aquaduct, rejoicing at the presence of Don Clark and Phoenix.

I'll have my Harmony Rocket. But no amp. Ah, Wonderful, Don. "Unchain my Heart."

Well, piss. Jessica just bailed on me. When you first said she agreed to come I realized I had never asked any of my kids. So I asked Devon if she would ever consider coming down. She gave me a perfect daughter eye-roll.
