Thanks for the support. Solo guitar doesn't require backup, especially in DADGAD. I can flat pick fiddle tubes with Millring and noodle with Howard without freaking out. Not to worry, Matt! I generally feel the same way, having always been more of an ensemble player, not a soloist. Because I am not Leo Effin' Kottke. We can hatch a plan to back each other up, perhaps? That should evaporate some of the stress. I have also found it helpful to have a nice piping cup of coffee before playing. What I meant to post here this evening is that I am becoming quite excited about this and look forward to seeing those of you I have already met in person, and meeting more old friends I have not yet met. Ok, so just cut me out. I will wait in the car. |

Being the newbie, you can always figure on pushing me out of the way. I don't mind. I can, on request, fill-in on most anything with a quick run down of key and chords. Bakersfield is 600 miles farther away than Brooklyn. Got ya beat on that one.
First day stop at KOA in Grants,NM 720 miles
Second day Oklahoma City 500 plus
Third day Lawrence, Kansas about 350
Thursday I slow down and don't blink forVinton. About 350.
