Are you guys still discussing this? Move on, nothing to see here: the real spectacle will be the next one, mark my words.

True. The next one will probably be a woman. Be interesting to see what creative lies they can cook up to destroy her. Closet suburban prostitution ring? Cheated in her third grade spelling bee? Stepford wife? Spikes the candy corn she gives out at Halloween with acid?
Oh, the possibilities are endless.

I'm sure they'll hang on until after 2020, unless health issue take one of them down. Or depending on the outcome of the 2018 Congressional races.

Today's news put me in mind of this one.
How does he make that Martin sound that bad?
Practice. And crappy pickups. This also may have been before he started using the services of wünder luthier TR Crandall.
Whatsamattah, Rob? You don't care for "bell-like" tone?

I believe that when a woman testifies for no apparent personal gain and likely personal cost to being assaulted, there are responses other than mocking them and calling them a liar that reflect better on the character of those that hear her.

We stand today at a crossroads: One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. The other leads to total extinction. Let us hope we have the wisdom to make the right choice.

Melania looked quite colonial on her recent trip.

If Brett Kavanaugh had been from Texas, he would have been "Brett Kavany'all". And when he turns his yacht sharply, he's "Brett Cabin Yaw". And if he were to stare in amazement at a cow giving birth, he would be "Brett Calving Awe".

Nothing left of this dead horse but a grease spot on the ground. Not quite...Rod Dreher posted commentary about an op-ed in the venerable Gray Lady, always one to show restraint. Their editors ran it with this headline that they wrote: ![](https://www.theamericanconservative.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Screen-Shot-2018-10-07-at-8.41.07-AM.png) So, that starts well. More: “Slit their wrists” … “rivers of blood through the Capitol”. Un-freaking-hinged. These people are working themselves up to doing something violent. Here, she tears into women who express concern about men being falsely accused of sexual assault: Think about that: Alexis Grenell believes that having a uterus means that women should not be concerned that their sons, brothers, and husbands might be falsely accused of raping a woman, and suffer from the lack of due process. Think about that. And here, we get to the heart of the matter: “Patriarchy,” “whiteness” — she’s using these Grievance Studies buzzwords in response to women worried about their flesh-and-blood male relatives being falsely accused. That’s because these men are nothing but abstractions to Grenell. Again, she returns to hysterically violent language — a language of tribalism: This blood pact between white men and white women is at issue in the November midterms. President Trump knows it, and at that Tuesday news conference, he signaled to white women to hold the line: “The people that have complained to me about it the most about what’s happening are women. Women are very angry,” he said. “I have men that don’t like it, but I have women that are incensed at what’s going on.” I’m sure he does “have” them; game girls will defend their privilege to the death. “To the death”? What does that mean? What could that possibly mean, other than to signal that Alexis Grenell and her people are preparing to do violence to them, and that Alexis Grenell believes that they cannot be persuaded, only defeated, no matter what it takes.

Will the utter intellectual vacuuosness, not to mention dishonesty, ever occur to people like her? Has the number of recent times it has backfired not caught their notice? I guess not. It's worked for so long and saved them the effort of reasoning with their repulsive cultural others that I suspect they've actually forgotten why they believe as they do. The other view:

I really, really don’t relish bringing this topic up again, but nobody ever learned from history without paying attention to it, even if it’s no longer fashionable. www.yahoo.com/news/kavanaugh-accuser-admits-she-fabricated-184414094.html"Kavanaugh Accuser Admits She Fabricated Allegations as a ‘Ploy’ for ‘Attention’....
Investigators located Munro-Leighton living in Kentucky, not California, and discovered that she is a left-wing activist decades older than Judge Kavanaugh.
She admitted to investigators that her story was a “tactic” and “that was just a ploy.”Totally fucked up. She did favors for neither our national review process, OR any legitimate victims going forward into the future. I hope they find *something* to charge her with.
