Here's an oddity -- CNN is broadcasting tonight's debate, and I just checked my cable listings and our local ABC, NBC and CBS affiliates are carrying it, too. But the local Fox station is not.
What the hell?

I'm watching. What either candidate has to say doesn't matter. It's the cadence of their voices. Fuzz out the words and listen to the listenability, the rythm of the sounds they are making, and one candidate is clearly doing better t
han the other. Unfortunately.

Biden looking and sounding really old and frail.
Trump sounding less goofy and crazy than he really is and more mentally nimble and coherent than I expected.
If the purpose of this debate is to sway the undecided middle Trump is doing much better as regards the vigor and vitality issue anyway.

Yes, it was painful. I think they're both too old to be President. Biden's substance was okay but he looked terrible. Trump looked fine but he talked like a crazy man.

Biden apparently had a cold but looked really pale, old and frail. He didn’t seem to be able to articulate his administration’s successes and got sucked into responding to Trump’s insults and going on the defensive. He definitely did not inspire confidence as to surviving a second term.
I think the weight of the presidency as well as Hunter’s travails have taken a toll as they would on any decent human being his age.
Trump looked great for him and was energetic as he spewed his usual barrage of insults and lies.
The last straw was arguing about their golf handicaps. Give me a f#$! break.
Being offered a choice between a person I think is basically a good human being that has endured more than his fair share of tragedy in his life but way too old for another term, and a candidate with an extremely severe personality disorder is kind of nuts.
First the pandemic, now a world with a barrage of challenging domestic and international problems to deal with and we are left with this choice?
I am at a loss for words-
