OK, my brain started working again and I realized my cabin mower has a B & S engine.
I just checked it, and it has a similar looking port. On mine that port is connected to a tube that is the output of the PC V valve. Positive Crankcase Ventelation. It feeds the gas (polution) output from the PVC back into the engine to reburn.
Don't think is should ever have liquid gas coming out of it.

I should know, I've worked on many, but there are little differences and I'm at my cabin. I've got a dozen B&S engines in my barn, I'll have to look when I get home.

What brand engine is it? What size motor?

I was up early, whilst it was still cool, to get some work done, here at the cabin. I have some lawn with water on 2 sides, steep banks on the other sides, no way to get a lawn mower there. My solution is to "mow" it with my string trimmer.
30 minutes at full throttle, one full tank of gas, is just enough to get the job done, this will keep it looking presentable for a couple weeks.
Now for more coffee and maybe a little flintknapping.

Pizza Place pizza, on Lake Delhi. Medium, half combo, half taco. It was cut into 8 slices, I ate 3 and brought the rest home for tomorrow.
From those of us who have traveled all over the world, the consensus is that Pizza Place pizza is the best in the world. Tonight it was really good!

Bad week, I lost a cousin this week, he was 10 tears younger that me.
I'm at my cabin this morning where I was greeted by a tree that had fallen. It fell into another tree also breaking it. Good news is it just missued the cabin, but it'll be a lot of work.

Beautiful morning to be outside. I'm back home from a morning bike ride , abouts 17.5 miles. I'm slowly getting my butt back in shape so I can withstand the bike seat.
I need to mow this afternoon and I need to get the cabin tractor ready to go to it's summer home.

It was a long day yesterday but I managed to get from Charleston back to Urbana. We had a great time in Charleston, the whole family declared it one of our favorite places.
We had a special treat as we deplaned in Chicago. As we came out of the jet bridge a Delta pilot was waiting there to greet us. He had to hurry off to his next flight but we did had a short visit. Oldest grandson had been in touch with him and mentioned what flight we were on.
I'll be off to the grocery store soon.

It's raining in Charleston, as we sit in a protected area, next to the pool.
Had an interesting day yesterday, we took the ferry out to Ft Sumpter and the boat was met by the head ranger for the park. Through the PA he welcomed everyone and informed everyone that there were celebrities on board. World champion water skiers, my daughter and SIL, and a world medalist Irish Dancer. He is an old friend of my daughter and SIL. He also gave us a great private tour.
Last night we went to Tommy Condond Irish Pub for dinner and it was open mic night. I made the mistake of going up to the sign in sheet to see how many were signed up. I was somehow drawn in. The rest is history. There was a session musician from Nashville There playing bass for anyone who wanted it.

68 degrees in Charlston this morning. We will be visiting Fort Sumpter this afternoon for a private, in depth, tour. But now, coffee. On holiday with your lady friend? <Charleston> <Sumter> Bill, I'm with my daughter, SIL and grandkids. Kids are out of college for the summer, so we're taking a little cultural get away.

Beautiful morning, rain in the forecast. Edward Jones, party/dinner tonight.
I think it's time to get the "good" Martin out of the humidity controlled winter resting spot and see what it sounds like after it's hibernation.
Got my new washing machine yesterday, did a short, 12 mile, bike ride and mowed lawn.

I'm sitting in my recliner, watching the birds outside, on this sunny morning. Purple finches are building a nest on the nesting platform that I put up.
I noticed yesterday, driving to Vinton, that the corn is starting to show up and corn rows are visible.
My New washing machine is supposed to arrive today at 11:00 A M, might have time for a bike ride this afternoon.

We had a line of thunder storms pass through around 4:00 this morning, some rain but not a lot.
BLT for breakfast. I picked asparagus this morning and checked the new battery in my zero turn, it's fully charged.
Music practice starts at 11:30, still time for a little more coffee

The day started with a trip to Elderly, followed by a trip down Elderly's front steps. No casualties but the pair of pants I was wearing, with about an hour to go before Aunt Patricia's memorial service. Luckily there was a Walgreens nearby to take care of the knees. As I was lamenting having to wear jeans to the service, Erin texted, "isn't there any place you could go to get a pair of pants?" I texted back, "not right before the service, and besides, I'm not exactly off the rack, except at the fat guy store." Inspiration struck, there was a fat guy store only a mile and a half away. I made it with a decent pair of pants with many minutes to spare. Mini crisis averted, and the only long-lasting damage appears to be to my pride. I originally took this picture for the sculpture, but I realized later it also reveals the scene of the crime. Glad you are ok. I always use the ramp at Elderly. I figure if I fall, I will roll harmlessly into the bushes. I am not sure at what age the doctor added “Any falls?” to the yearly checkup. First time he did it, I said to Barb, he must think I am clumsy. No, she said, he thinks you are old. I ve had that, "have you fallen in the past year", question for several years now. A couple years ago I answered "yes". How many times, "2". In the exam room the Dr/nurse was all excited, "tell us about your falls". OK, I was skiing a Breckenridge, I'd just gotten off the Imperial lift, just under 13,000 ft elevation. I dropped into the Imperial bowl, double black, it was really rough and I fell. Second time I went over a drop off, ski slid out and I went down. The only damage was to my pride. They both just sat and stared at me.

I'm sitting looking out the window at a beautiful Bass Lake, drinking coffee.
SIL's 60th birthday party yesterday was a great success. I'll head for home late this afternoon. I need to go shopping for a new washing machine tomorrow.
