Morning!
Large rain systems roamed the region yesterday. They all went by just to the West of us. But after midnignt was our turn, 2.5 inches! Wind, but not strong wind. Lightnings, but not enough to send Casper to his hidey-hole in the basement. Just one band of rain after another all night long. On top of the 1.5" we had last week, we're good.

You might want to conduct another study, Paul, and included Dr. Pepper on this one. Apparently, Dr. Pepper has tied Pepsi for number two amongst soda rankings. As bad as Dr. Pepper is, anything ranked three or lower must be really nasty. Dr. Pepper is just cherry coke with a dash of fentanyl. I can do a study of the various cola variants, cherry, vanilla, asparagus, and day old fish. Stay tuned.

Study completed.
I took Bill's advice. They all were wonderful. Not just tasty, they produced some wonderful insights into life and other stuff. I wrote the best ones down, but now I can't make any sense out them. Only word I can make out is "dog". So, that must be important.

I wish they would have tossed those loudmouths. Taz and Toss! Civility is worth a few casualties.

Me and Bryson are both Cobra Boys! And we both play the "One Length" model. Mine don't hit the ball as far as his do, though. I think I'll have them checked out by the Cobra rep next time he is at King's Walk here in town.
Rory is a gentleman and a credit to the game, but I was pulling for Bryson. And not just because the resale value of my clubs just went up like a rocket. I like players that use the entire golf course. I mean, it's all there for reason, take advantage of it. Why limit yourself to those boring fairways when there is whole wild wooly world to explore!

Morning!
It's Father's Day, so I made everyone a nice big breakfast. As soon as I finish cleaning up, I'll pull out my trusty vacuum cleaner and get at it. Maybe after housework, I'll be able to sit down for few minutes and watch some golf. I'll have to check with the wife first, though, as I think there might be a "Sewing with Nancy" marathon on today. If there is, well, I can always do the laundry. You can always do some laundry.

I am conducting a big study this weekend. I am doing it primarily to satisfy my curiosity, but I expect others will find the results interesting as well.
I am going to conduct an exhaustive taste-testing of all of the Coke and Pepsi cola drinks commonly available on grocery shelves and in convenience stores and categorize them by taste.
The colas to be taste tested and compared: Regular Coke, Coke with cane sugar, Diet Coke, Zero Sugar Coke, regular Pepsi, Pepsi with cane sugar, Diet Pepsi, Zero Sugar Pepsi.
This test will be comprehensive and will adhere to some of the standards and protocols associated with comprehensive and scrupulous taste testing studies that I found on the internet. I will disclose my findings on Monday, if I remember, later if I don't.

Morning!
A nice, overnight rain (.6"). Checked my greenhouse, and a tomato is showing signs of turning (going out on late night walks, edgy and nervous, some recent large purchases considering its income). I'll keep an eye on it.

LJ, you could carry the boot with you, similar to Linus and his blanket. I did something similar with Casper and it worked out great (he still grabs that duck every time it thunders).

Hop on a paddle boat on the upper Mississippi in Minnesota or Iowa in late September. Take a lazy float downstream. You will have perfect temps the entire trip. Once you reach Mississippi, hop on another boat and keep on going... Cuba, the Cayman Islands, Brazil, round the Horn, Chili, the Galapagos, Disney Land, Mike's place, Vancouver, then home.

This might sound like a joke, but, apparently it isn't. Don't get wife-cozy or whack off for at least 48 hours before your PSA test as it can cause elevated readings.

Sunny and 69 degrees. Should hit 80 this afternoon with a dewpoint of around 50. Great start to summer. Every night is cool. Days are sunny. And fresh air with no humidity. When North Dakota is good, it's very good.

, or grab them by the pussy. Ah, yes. Those partisan truth tellers. Biden offering support to an appreciative friend is the icky pervert. Trump bragging about grabbing pussy and barging into a dressing room filled half-naked teens getting ready for a swimsuit competition is the defender of justice and the American way. Biden, stumbling over a couple words in a speech, is demented. Trump, going off the teleprompter and into a five-minute ramble about how electric boats would be a good thing because if you were about to be eaten by a shark you could just electrocute yourself first, is the man with the judgement and mental acuity this country needs in a leader.

Be sure any testing is done by an audiologist that has no affiliation whatsoever with any outfit that sells the things. See a clinic specialist recommended by your Doc or someone affiliated with your clinic. Some of these hearing aid outfits are on par with those characters who flood your mailbox with extended warranty offers for your car or cash offers for your house or limited trust deals that will keep that bum your kid married or some nursing home from ever seeing a dime of your money.

My hearing is still pretty darn good. (Only testing ding is I can't hear frequencies above 9500K... which I don't miss).
And my reading is still pretty darn good. (thank you, bifocals).
And my excellent hearing and reading has led me to hear and read this over and over:
Go to Costco.
Don't question, don't fret, just go to Costco. If you don't belong, join.
(I just found out that if I had used Costco's new car buying service, I could have saved an easy $800 and gotten my car from the same damn dealer)

Morning.
Volunteered to help grill burgers for some summer youth program party this afternoon. Estimates are for possibly a hundred kids. I suggested we pick up a couple pony kegs, but it didn't fly.
