So on my laptop I get the Add image window and I inked it to upload, let's see? Do I have to do this on my computer only or is there a phone app I need?
Yes, that is my brown carpet on my bench. Notice the herringbone Cherry Mahogany floor I installed over the concrete floor.

For those of you who are not familiar with my guitars I am posting this acoustic recording from over 10 years ago. This is John Mock. John toured for years with Kathy Mattea, then he got a composition degree and did string arrangements for many recording projects, he eventually became the multi instrumentalist for the Dixie Chicks before their demise.
He is such a wonderful musician.

My good friend John Standefer, this was recorded before we developed the new singe saddle PU. These are Graphtech single saddle pickups.

I'd like you to make a nice video with the newer saddle pickup/mic arrangement. There's still some edginess to the pickup in this video that would turn me off. Whereas I think the new saddle pickup and mic combination does a superior job. Plus, I think full chord strumming is a better test for a pickup. Not that that is "better" guitar playing. It's just that many pickups breakup when strummed strongly. To me, that's the acid test for a pickup. Most any pickup can sound acceptable when picked delicately.

Dub, I have no luck insetting pics. You said the software blocked me... Why can I not post from my google photos on my android phone. Um... it isn't the software. Dub is a die hard Apple dude, he blocks everything android. He must be out right now, usually, he won't even allow the word "android" to stay. If you want to post from a phone, you'll have to get an Apple. (he put it in the forum bylaws somehow)

Sorry for being an IT idiot Paul, you are definitely not an idiot. Many of our members have had trouble posting images, especially from mobile phones. Normally, one can just paste a URL into a post and readers will be able to click it to view the linked page. It doesn’t matter what brand of device you have. * In this case, it looks like two URLs were posted as a single continuous text string. A URL is a link to a single file on a server somewhere. If the target file is an image, the URL may end with a type designation such as .jpg, indicating a certain graphic format. That normally indicates the end of a URL string though there could be some qualifiers after it. But a slash symbol (/) indicates a directory hierarchy and Web browsers expect anything following the slash to be a file, or directory, held within a directory whose name precedes the slash. I hope that makes sense. Given the many variations in design choices made by Web developers, it can sometimes be difficult to get a valid URL that links to the image you’d like to link or display. Added to that difficulty are the choices made by the ProBoards (our host here) developers. All the useful tools to help with things like posting images are found in full browser view of the forum. What you’d see on a desktop or laptop device. I’m currently typing this on a tablet device so I’m seeing the full Web browser version. Normally, on a smartphone, you’ll see the mobile version of the form displayed. However, if you click the word “Home” at the top left of the screen and scroll down to the very bottom, you’ll see the the words “Dashboard,” and “Desktop” in the right hand corner. Clicking on the word “Desktop” will put you in desktop mode and you’ll have all the tools available. Of course most of the text will be too small to read. But you can enlarge with a finger spread to read the text. This is awkward and I doubt that many members do this, but it’s possible. We have no control over this as all the choices were made by our ProBoards host. If I’m posting a link using my phone, I just paste the URL as you did. *Of course if we detect any activity from Paul “ePaul” Tandberg, we force him into a digital obstacle course because… we can.

I can post photos from my phone, but it is about a 10-step process. I mostly upload to a photo-sharing website (smugmug) so I can usually link there, but once again on the phone there are a lot of what some people might think are unnecessary steps to do so. I guess I'm just used to it, but it isn't simple.

It's just that many pickups breakup when strummed strongly. To me, that's the acid test for a pickup. Most any pickup can sound acceptable when picked delicately. Marshall, the response from playing hard can be referred to as headroom. I will just explain it from the testing done By Go AA. In testing 4 different Baggs preamps we found them to be in the low 60%s in signal to noise ratio. Fishman was in tue low 70s%. As for head room the Baggs tested in between -35% and about -40% negative distortion. Fishman is around -45%. The Go AA system you just installed is in the upper 70s% signal to noise. But for head room the Go AA system has pro audio capacity. Meaning better than - 90% total distortion. I presume you have dug it to the Gibson you installed our systems in and its not hitting a distortion point. The dynamic range is really enhanced by the low negative distortion percentage. Peter White had us install Go AA back in 2018. He had used RMC for years in my guitars to control feed back on loud stages. But as hot as the RMC signal is , if you play it hard it will square wave. But beyond that it will not deliver enough vol and head room. Peter toured for years with a booster box. If he needed a note to rise above the full band he used the booster. Of course the rich tone he is trying to reflect from his studio sound gets harsh and more like an electric guitar. With Go AA he can just hit the string harder and the input drives the notes he needs above the band without any booster. This is really tremendous dynamic range. So a recent recording we did to demonstrate go AA against the Element system is on our website. If you are not familiar with Tim Thompson every one should be. He is one of the most talented guitarists and musicians I know. I am on my phone so I will get the laptop out so I can insert Tim in the next post

The guitar he used is a funky Gibson with old strings, it belongs to the studio owner who film and recorded him. Tim, like Marshall, wanted to play it with a driving effect to show how GoAA responds to rhythmic playing.
just for fun I am also inserting Tim playing his brilliant Birdland arrangement. Tim decided to go to Winfield, impromptu, and won his Second Championship playing this arrangement.
Tim is a big supporter of Go AA, for a number of years now. He had been combining a Barbera pickup through a Anthem system.

That Byrdland arrangement is magic. And the guitar sounds great. Mike Amen ! Dub hit on it perfectly to use a phine for inserting images and videos, Home Page- Scroll to bottom- Hit Desktop. Phones needed to be converted from Mobile to Desktop mode to get the features I can easily use on my laptop. Now I can insert Pics and videos from the phone. This information is not included in the Help section of the forum hosting instructions for inserting images.
