Cool & sunny. It’s supposed to be 34 tonight so frost is just around the corner. Have a good day in our crazy world. I shall spend the day putting light gauge strings on a couple guitars.

Never heard of the show, never heard of the scene, sounds like I haven't missed anything. And it is quite unusual for you not to be aware of something.🙄

We watched a couple of episodes expecting something completely different. I know people rave about it but it’s not for us.

I can’t get the heart monitor wet so this poses a problem for showers. Today I used the bathtub in the guest bath and I thought I was going to need somebody to help me get out! It’s been a long time since I took a bath! Showers are easy. I will need to figure this out for tomorrow. I don’t like baths anyway. Sponge bath in a shallow tub. Been there, done that. It gets old. I may cover the monitor with plastic and run through the car wash. Those swirling brushes should do the job.

A lot of scenes are memorable in yeesh sort of way, but the trough scene was not too bad, as I recall.

We watched a couple episodes and lost track of the number of people murdered. I assumed they were fed to the cows. We couldn’t see the appeal of the show. Too many volatile crazy people and no real “ good guys” to be found. We decided to pass on it. I can’t imagine making it through an entire season.

Chilly out there. I think the hummingbirds have headed south, but I will leave the feeder out this week in case any strays pass through. Breakfast awaits.

I ordered a cane. The box came today and inside were 6 boxes of 30 male catheters each for a total of 180 catheters. No cane. The packing slip says “here is your cane.” Some poor schmuck who needs 180 catheters has a nice new cane. Financially, I came out way ahead but I am not going to use them just because I scored a real deal. The cane I would use. Sigh! Too bad it wasn't at least six boxes of 30 cookies.
That would have been a mistake I could have lived with.

We own a waffle iron. I strongly recommend it. And Mike, you haven’t had a waffle until you have dodged a thrown chair while having one. Waffle House regulars can pick up and shield their plates and grab their coffee without spilling a drop as the chair flies over their head. And, I would love one of those cups!

The heavy responsibility of starting the daily has fallen upon me. It’s something I take quite seriously. It’s 44 degrees heading up to 57. Wearing a heart monitor is a pain in the ass, which is a long way from my heart. Breakfast is the most important meal of the early morning. Coffee is heaven sent. I listen to music on CDs, vinyl, via streaming, broadcast radio, and I hum a lot. Barb got Wordle in 2. That’s all I have. Now, start the posting frenzy.

I worry that all my Charleston dance 78s won’t be as popular in 20 years. Beyond that, I don’t give it a thought.

I suppose something that helps you strengthen your fingers and increase your reach & flexibility isn’t really such a terrible idea. If it actually works, of course. It looks weird. When I was playing guitar with the crazy guy I used some long stretch chords in some tunes pretty easily. I tried one recently and I just couldn’t do it. Maybe my fingers got shorter.

And you keep it clean by eating at a Waffle House!?!😅😅😅😅😅 C'mon, LJ, I had to try it once, at least. 😄
Sometimes that’s what the coroner writes at the bottom of the page. “He told friends he had to try it at least once.”

It got down into the mid 40s last night and may be in the upper 30s tonight. I have a heart monitor cemented to my sternum and have 13 more days to go before it and a few layers of skin come off. I get to take a bath in a bucket in the backyard for two days and then I can bring the bucket inside. I suppose if you look at a list of awful things, wearing a heart monitor for 14 days would be down at the bottom and, probably, still better than eating at a Waffle House. That’s iffy, though.
