Weekend after Labor Day? Can I beg a ride from Chicago? Gotta get the CFO to bless it. I’ve been a little shaky the last year or two and she has approval power over my plans. Would love to make it.

Bothered by a pinched nerve in my left shoulder. Wife suggests it’s from guitar playing. Hope I can still do that in the future. What bits of advice can you share, Bill.

Goodman was probably my Dad's favorite. I grew up with the HI-FI vinyl and it was one of the first albums I bought when it was available in CD format. I always wondered why mandolin players didn't pick up on Somebody Stole My Gal. It modulates right through the easiest fiddle/mandolin keys effortlessly. Off to work. If I get off early enough I'll mow the lawn. I’d love to hear one of David Grisman’s groups riff on this one.

Saying prayers and thanks to those who have died defending our country. Thank you all. Off to see tide pools and more at the Seacoast Science Center. I suppose since we're going to be in NH we're in Doc's neck of the woods? It's not like it's a huge state. Oh well, next time I'll figure out how to arrange a visit. Take a peak at a map and see if you are near New London. We’re northeast of Concord about 15 miles. Home all day. C’mon down. It’s a beautiful day and incredibly sunny and green.

Good morning. 51F-72F Rain. It's raining and a storm just pasted through. Simon is out under his bush next to the front porch with no intention of coming in where it's dry. I have a INR this morning then shop time for a while. Nice lunch with Terry and Glenn yesterday. Then we came back to my place where they watched me put some K&Ks in Glenn's Walker Wise River guitar. I showed off some of my little tricks and jigs for getting the job done right. Everyone have a good weekend, Summer is here, just ask Simon. My guitar is still played through the K&K you installed for me on my trip out to Iowa. Boy do I appreciate the functionality of that installation, Marty.

That’s no chopped liver they’re crushing. They are the dominant team this season. It’d be an upset if anyone knocks them out.

Good morning.
The show of Paul McCartney's photographs from about 1963 to 1965 encompassed their trips to Paris, New York, Washington, DC, and Miami, and the people and places they encountered, including many photos of the lads themselves. It was extensive, fascinating, and included a video of them on the Ed Sullivan Show, two huge murals of fans waiting to greet them in New York, Washington, and Miami, and photos that Sir Paul took of the reporters and photographers who were engaging with the Beatles. I was not able to find my father in any of those images. The experience brought back a flood of memories, and I think I need to screen "A Hard Day's Night" soon.
Have a great day, folks.
Made my day.

The little quote about being old but I saw Dylan on stage is a consolation for me as well as I saw Dylan and Baez perform together at the Philly Civic center long time ago.

My BSN classes at Rutgers Camden Campus were underneath the Ben Franklin Bridge into Philly. Not picturesque.

This thread got me thinking about my wife’s father. A difficult man shell shocked in the Korean War. A tough profane man. In one of the most surprising relationships of my life, I got along great with him.

I live in a modest house in an upscale neighborhood with my wife. Daughter rents s room and sister in law is in a bedroom on the first floor. We are comfortable with minimal conflict. Sister in law is headed for assisted living very soon. Other than that I don’t anticipate much changing.

Had some pizza, homemade with fabulous mild sauce and a great crust. Might have been the best pizza I have ever eaten. Seriously. You made it? Yup. But no credit to me, wonderful ingredients.
