Like being in four states at once--the four corners down there in the SW.
Or for four countries, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. (tho out in the middle of a river)

So it was winter and there was the man who had a passion for ice fishing. He heads to his favorite spot and spends the day fishing but has terrible luck and not one fish bites. As he is packing up for the day he notices a kid, not far off is fishing also, but almost as soon as he puts his line it catches a fish. The kid does this a couple times and almost as fast catches more fish. The man was amazed, but shrugged and went home.
Next week the man goes out again and has the same bad luck with his fishing. As he is packing up his gear he sees the same kid, and the kid is again catching fish like crazy. After the kid leave the man goes to the spot the kid was fishing from and catches nothing, not even a bit. Frustrated, he goes home.
The next week the man goes out to his favorite fishing spot, but this time he is watching for the kid. Sure enough the kid come back and is catching fish. So fascinated, he decided he had to ask the kid what the secret to catching fish. So he approaches the kid and ask "I have seen you out here the last few weeks and I have to know, what is your secret to catching fish like this?”
The kid mumbles, "mmph uhm whm.”
The man replies, “Sorry, I didn't understand what you said.”
The kid then spits something out of his mouth and says " You have to keep your bait warm."

Centuries ago, they looked at the difficulty and expense of making pencils, and went with quill pens instead.
As they say, it was a no brainer.

In a heavy-bottomed 3qt sauce pan,
Two-three measures of the rice,
Double that for the water to add,
A bit of salt and pepper (maybe a shake or few of red?),
A tablespoon or so of oil--I like the flavor of sesame--to keep it from sticking at the end,
Bring to a boil, cover well and reduce the heat to lowest possible. (back, small burner)
Keep an eye on it at the end, I listen for the sound of the last of the water disappearing, and/or use a bread knife or chopstick to probe the bottom to check for that. Turn the heat off and let it sit for another five minutes (if it started sticking at all, this will take care of that, too).
I like it done this way much better than the brown rice menu on a rice cooker--it comes out firmer/chewier and not the stickier version of the rice cooker. Done this way is better for fried rice, since the grains don't stick to each other so much.
(my wife doesn't like 'flavored' rice--w/sesame oil, salt/pepper in it. too many cooks and all that...)

I have it on both VHS and DVD. Actually two copies on DVD--one with just the movie, the other is a double disc, movie plus bonus material.
We have the whole set of disney films, snow white thru about hunchback and lion king 1-1/2. Many as above, both VHS and DVD.
Also a double DVD of silly symphonies.

I went with Misty as my primary guitar holder a few years back, and have no regrets. She is wonder. Those eyebrows look so natural! At least her nails look good.

One sister lives in a big building right at the northwestern campus and hospital downtown--600 north michigan--and has been there for years, no plan to move. I've enjoyed visits there, but it's been ~5yrs since the last time.
Tho her work/study is not tied to the campus, one of our daughters is a student at northwestern and her advisor (and the part of NW that they're in) is in that same place. They live in evanston, but commute down, and right now she's doing a summer internship that I think is a bit farther south, and in a little (four days in office, one remote?). A couple few weeks ago, she didn't get into the actual TS concert, but was in the mob outside soldier field (sent a couple pics/movies of that).

besides, you were raised in a strongly religiously influenced culture So were Torquemada, Cotton Mather, and Ayatollah Khomeini. I've never been able to figure out why, in movies or on TV, that that weird (stupid) shape is taken to represent--"this is a view of something thru binoculars".
