Good morning. Noticed last night it was still light outside at 5:45PM, even though it had been overcast all day.

I agree with Mitt Romney, “Here's what I know. Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He's playing the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House and all we get is a lousy hat. His domestic policies would lead to recession. His foreign policies would make America and the world less safe. He has neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president. And his personal qualities would mean that America would cease to be a shining city on a hill.”
IMO, Once Trumps supporters figure out that Romney was correct, they will turn on Trump. Its like reality-TV meets reality. It’s all entertainment until it’s personal. On a personal level, I know my wife is separating from a close friend because the friend is a Trump supporter. Reminds me of that song:
There's battle lines being drawn Nobody's right if everybody's wrong

I bought a used 2010 Venza in 2012 from Carmax. It had just under 15K miles on it then and about 40K now. I had owned other Toyotas and found them to be reliable. The reason we had to get another vehicle was that my wife, with back issues, was having a problem getting in and out of our Ford Taurus. We checked out cars at the car show to find one easy to enter and exit.
i like my Venza. Bought new 19” tires last year for $708 and a new battery this year $90. Other than that just oil changes. Mine is a 4 cylinder and does not have 4 wheel drive. So I can’t comment on the 6 cyl. The only long trip we made was to Virginia Beach and that was as pleasant as we expected. Our other car is a Honda CRV which has heated seats, something I would recommend especially in Mn.
We traded in a ford taurus that was in very good condition [ i take pride in keeping my vehicles maintained ]. Carmax gave us $3500 trade in for it. Later I found it online and they were asking $6900 for it. I know they didn’t have to do anything to it.

I thought about changing my login name to Phil McCrackin, but I thought that sounded to gay.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Is there a meaning behind that number? I heard that 420 was the police code for Marijuana Smoking in Progress or that it was the time to meet up after school, anyway 420 has become associated with the drug.

consider this: www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/court-upholds-ban-gun-sales-marijuana-card-holders-n640951Quote: A federal ban on the sale of guns to holders of medical marijuana cards doesn't violate the Second Amendment, a federal appeals court said Wednesday. The ruling by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco came in a lawsuit filed by S. Rowan Wilson, a Nevada woman who said she tried to buy a firearm for self-defense in 2011 after having obtained a medical marijuana card. The gun store refused, citing the federal rule banning the sale of firearms to illegal drug users. Marijuana remains illegal under federal law, and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has told gun sellers they can assume that a person with a medical marijuana card uses the drug. Related: Do Medical Marijuana Users Have Right to Bear Arms? No, Says ATF The 9th Circuit said in its 3-0 decision that Congress reasonably concluded that marijuana and other drug use "raises the risk of irrational or unpredictable behavior with which gun use should not be associated." Wilson's attorney, Chaz Rainey, said there needs to be more consistency in applying the Second Amendment. He planned to appeal. "We live in a world where having a medical marijuana card is enough to say you don't get a gun, but if you're on the no-fly list, your constitutional right is still protected," he said. Paul Armentano, deputy director of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, said the idea that marijuana users were more prone to violence is a fallacy. "Responsible adults who use cannabis in a manner that is compliant with the laws of their states ought to receive the same legal rights and protections as other citizens," he said. The ruling applies only in the nine Western states that fall under the court's jurisdiction, including California, Washington and Oregon.

Saw them in 1967 in NY. They started the show with an air raid siren. I had the album too. Loaned it to a friend and never got it back.
