The hybrid - digital and paper/ink "To make a hybrid or digital news organization work commercially, Abernathy said, she has decided you need three things: the right community demographics, a locally based owner who can respond to the community’s needs and access to capital or another source of funding." I like books, magazines, articles, etc I very enjoy cursive writing It's part of my day - Sunday Newspaper Ditto ditto regrets

It’s a Netflix series of vignettes that are computer graphic generated. Short episodes that are all different. Mostly futuristic SyFy things. Some dystopia. Some humor. All different stories. Different characters. Unpredictable. I’m liking them a lot. the Netflix series CGI "the names"?

the Steely Dan thread..... I always checked out the radio music back in the 70s or the 80s and I could never remember if it was Steely Dan or Doobie Bros? (I had too much LSD)
I always turned the music loudly....
Now....I can't hear very well

I prepared a huge chicken soup for ten portions. I ate soup & a normal large salad - heirloom tomato, avocado, iceberg lettuce and vinaigrette dressing. And eat some milk chocolate kisses P.S. I'll have a big burger and some french fries - my late evening the salad was holistic There's about four of those plastic tubs - the soup. (There's something in the back they're legal at least in California.)

This is the beginning of my day. I'm finally awake - my brain cobwebs. My writing can be actually a collaboration.
I have enormous respect, thankful, kindness and changed many lives. I have new wonderful people now. They can help me including in equality. I am intimate. I have to be vigilant in my foundation and my sanctuary
As to the philosophy: My life is a spiritual journey and for me spiritual energy is as real as food, water and air. Everything is intertwined. Nothing separate. And for me, the aspect of surrender a way to talk about surrendering the mad hold that our egos have on our hearts and minds.
Ego is a construct. It's a made up thing that helps us function but also if we take it too seriously it gets in the way of a peaceful, heartfelt, kind life. For me, holding onto this notion that I have a fixed ego that knows exactly what is right/wrong/good/bad is not a source of wellbeing. My letting that go and practicing kindness and cultivating gratitude is what matters. It has been known to say, "Kindness is my religion." With this I wholeheartedly agree.
Enjoy your days.

Fake meat...... I should try it but I don't really care for it.... But I can't taste. I should try it anyway.
I have been a omnivore for 70 years. I had dinner with a whole chicken or huge steak. I'm a lot more moderate. I eat more fruit and veggies and nuts. But I still love meat and of course how about Bacon. I need to find a new better nutritionist.
Almost every senior has changes their bodies - no salt, no wheat, no milk, no cheese, no meat, vegan diets, etc. It seems like there's a lot "depends"
So I had a smoothie, a lot fluid and I just prepared chicken soup. I need to get some Cadbury and Hershey chocolate. (in my cupboard);-)
I don't drink alcohol (in my cups);-(

I was doing my night pills - melatonin- I made a mistake. I only had one pill -5mg - I should’ve had two pills -10mg * a smidge idiot *
Enjoy yourself and the day.

I’m pretty sure you’ve seen it and it’s a great movie - CODA 2021 Oscar It started for almost 25 years - Japanese - Khamoshi (1997) and French - deaf issues La Famille Belier (2014) - not released in USA
It was actually two movies CODA - they were both good The other one was about stage fright - CODA 2019 Patrick Stewart
And they were great music..... singing, piano, guitars..... not cowbells or banjos

Wheeler

A brief review - and I watched it - I was bored or something - One star & half star.
We soon hit the road to Music City with the man himself, who duly lives up to his humble and good-natured reputation as he commandeers his late father’s pickup and chats with an unseen camera-holding friend who occupies the passenger seat. The minute he spies the twinkling nighttime skyline of Music City, an excited Wheeler pulls over and boot scoots down the alley that leads to the Ryman Auditorium, the original home of the Grand Ole Opry. Presumably, this is where Dorff begins to connect with non-actors such as the guard who won’t let him enter through the stage entrance or a diner waitress the next morning who wonders about the camera while supplying plenty of syrup for his pork sausage. Wheeler’s plan is to hit open-mic nights at such venues as Bobby’s Idle Hour and Douglas Corner, hoping to be discovered.
As luck would have it, he spies a Nashville notable, songwriter Bobby Tomlinson (among several cast members playing themselves, including Dorff’s “Blade” co-star Kris Kristofferson), on a tour bus who promises to check out one of his shows where Dorff assumes the guise of Wheeler in front of unsuspecting actual patrons. One thing leads to another and, just like that, Wheeler soon lands in the recording studio at Curb Records. But just when everything seems to be too good to be true, it turns out—rather abruptly and disappointingly—that it is.
If you are looking for a small yet pleasant diversion from politics this weekend, “Wheeler” will be available on demand as well as in theaters. However, there is one timely anecdote that Dorff’s character tells while driving that ties right in with current affairs. Wheeler, a history buff, considers it “pretty damn hilarious” that many people are upset about illegal immigrants these days. Why? Because his ancestors migrated from Tennessee to Texas in the early 1830s when it was owned by Mexico, which offered free land and low taxes to those who moved there. Eventually, the situation led to the Battle of the Alamo. After that, Texas became its own country until it was annexed into the United States nine years later. His summation: “Basically, at the end of the day, we’re all illegal immigrants.”
