I'm not a fan of that particular song, but I listened to music on my phone when trying to sleep in the hospital,' and somehow wound up listening to a lot of Donovon. I enjoyed hearing him beyond what I had known before.

I loved her and the Hot Band then, still love them now. My first album I believe was from the early '80's, I'm sure, Last Date.

I'ts a sunny say. It looks great, but it's a cool one. More rain this afternoon. Like LJ, it's time to be healed. But I know patience is key.

It's snowing here too. A good day to be stuck in the house.

That last day at work sounds good to me, Howard. Aside from the management it seems that you were well-liked in your work place, and walking away with that memory matters.

According to this, I'm a straight up and down moderate.

Congratulations, Howard. There is not doubt in my mind that you will not be looking back. You'll find a very satisfying was to pass your time.
I loved your post, Concertina girl.
It's cold, rainy and windy here. It's hard to find something to do when I can't play guitar yet. But I'll manage to find something.

Easter dinner is happening today. I can't do the lifting, but I can give directions while my daughters to the work. More like a Christmas meal with turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and some sort of dessert they're making.

That’s great!! Did they have to do a colostomy? Ileostomy, which they will reverse in a few weeks.

Todd, scary shit to go through. Good to hear you are still you. (I bet you had some really strange and interesting dreams. Any lights or angels?) No lights or angels or any of that stuff, but some really interesting dreams; bizarre but never anything scary. There would be no point in describing them because they'd be nonsense and I'm slowly not remembering any of them, which is more than fine withe me.

When I fell asleep I was 60, and when I woke up I was 90. Now I'm working my way back to 60 again. That's what septic shock does. I don't recommend going through it.
I am fully aware of how fortunate I am to be alive, and of how fortunate I am to be surrounded by so many good and wonderful people like all of you. Cards and well-wishes really do mean something, they keep someone in good spirits, give an outlook that things will be back to normal, and left one nurse with the impression that I am a member of the Duck Band, which tours heavily in North and South Dakota.
I also realized something I've known for years. My daughters, Taylor and Peyton, who were at and continue to be at might side, are the best daughters anyone could find. I wouldn't be sitting right here without them.

I remember hearing about your upcoming surgery, LJ, and how long the recovery time would be. It's great to hear that you are healing, that's important for a lot of us to know.

That's very cool, John, I passed it on. Translating visual things into sound reminds me of blind students I know who use the Orion TI-84 Plus Talking Graphing Calculator. If you're ever bored, this might be interesting. It's not a student of mine, I found this on Youtube. But I do know students who use them.

That's very cool, Ken. We have the occasional box turtle around here, but very rarely see them. Years ago I saw a kid and a Dad who were all excited to have found one, and had it in an aquarium full of water. I explained that they are not water turtles, which they listened to. I also hinted at that they should let it go, which I doubt they listened to.

That's a hard one. I do wish you and your spouse, but more so your cat (what is his/her name?) the best outcome.

It's warm here too. Which means the kids I see wearing shorts in the winter all have sweaters on today. Go figure.
